TSA punishes protests

To all you privacy advocates:

It is still OK to travel without ID, even on an airplane.  You just have to tell the TSA officer that you lost it.  As part of TSA's new policy, people who willfully refuse to show ID will not be allowed to board.  Others will.

Could be a fun policy to test, but who'd want to get stuck in the airport.

Wow! That's interesting. If you don't remove your shoes/bring a bottled beverage with you, you won't be allowed to board but you can forget your ID. Sounds hypocritical to me. I'd rather see them refuse someone w/o ID on a plane than someone who refuses to remove their shoes/brings a bottled beverage.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Either require it or not. Although, I truly do not think it enhances security one iota. Every 9/11 hijacker had valid ID's.
