Middle east conflict benefits OPEC

Oil prices have climbed 38% in recent weeks, mainly due to the Gaza conflict.  What is ironic about this, is that as Israel, right or wrong, continues to press into Gaza, the source (oil) of the money that funds Hamas continues to grow in price.

I liked the one statement you said, Israel right or wrong. That is fair, even though Israel has the right to defend itself and is finally taking out some real Hamas terrorists. Anyways, I do believe that the Arabs/Iranians/Saudi's are pissed at Israel and by them connecting the US to Israel, they're making oil prices high. I hate that and the US needs to find another way to get oil or get away from it completely. In fact, I heard that there may be a lot of oil in Israel and drilling could go on there. We'd save more money buying from Israel.
