The first step towards Universal Healthcare
The first step towards universal healthcare will be contained in President Obama's first budget, a $634B fund. This money will come primary from cost savings in areas of medicare and medicaid, such as allowing the government to buy prescriptions at cheaper prices and also penalize hospitals that have high re-admittance rates for patients.

First step towards socialism in the good ole USA!
It is embarrassing that we are the only country with such wealth that does not provide its citizens with healthcare. Americans tend to die younger, and pay more for healthcare than most other countries.
I think that if the gov't provides healthcare and runs hospitals, treatment will get worse.
