Jindal's response
Bobby Jindal, the asshole, responded to President Obama's address by making fun of the fact that it includes several million dollars towards volcano monitoring. This is from a man who lives in Louisiana, a state that should be all too familiar with natural disasters. As Nate Silver points out, this type of monitoring has already saved lives.

He's saying there's too much spending when it's not needed. Not all money should be going to study volcanoes, maybe some. Donations should cover that. I think Bobby Jindal said some great things.
Bobby Jindal is only marginally smarter than Sarah Palin. Donations do not cover million dollar monitoring stations to make sure that natural disasters do not strike.
