This is more money than anyone in my close family makes, and is only going to affect a very small portion of Americans; and while they will be taxed they will be able to afford it.
However that's not going to stop people like Glenn Beck and idiots ranging from delivery drivers to Joe the Plumber complaining about how democrats are "going to tax me for working hard." 99.99% of those who will complain will never make enough money in their lives to be affected by this tax. They will, however, be able to receive affordable healthcare, resulting in a net increase of disposable income.
It is time for us to act now. Real healthcare reform has never been closer.
