Patterson is afraid, and he should be. With McCain effectively dropping out in MI, many republicans will not vote. It is very possible that Joe Knollenberg or Tim Walberg will be defeated. Currently, Knollenberg is down by 4 pts in the polls, and with McCain dropping out its not going to get any better.

I agree. This is going to hurt not only McCain but other Republicans too. This was dumb of McCain and if I see anymore dumb things occur, I'll be writing someone in by the time of the election. By the way, I'll still vote other Republicans in MI.
